I'm not really sure, if that's what it is, but we had an invasion of the little critters last night that was like nothing I'd ever seen. They were coming in, under the threshold on the front door, faster than we could kill them.
Cleaned them all up b/f bed last night and found over 100 this morning. They were in every single room of the house.
When we went outside to look at the porch last night, there were 4 of my little green suction footed friends. Must have been quite the feast for them.
Will go to the hardware today to get some caulk for under the threshhold to see if we can get this under control.
SO TOTALLY GROSS...

need some Sevin dust? Might take a while to get there tho...
ReplyDeleteNo chemicals... they are way "green".
ReplyDeleteOkay Spit....I'm startin' to rethink any visit. I just don't think I could deal with little crawly things running around while I'm tryin' to sleep.
ReplyDeleteWe only found one in our bed... despite the 50 or so on the bedroom carpet.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to the "shady" hardware store today, really hoping that they have some wonderful banned chemicals on the back shelf!
You may want to start to look at your suction footed friends as part of your army against bugs.
ReplyDeleteWe had two (much smaller) in the shower in C.R. and named them Poom and Pam.
I think that ours look too much alike to name!
ReplyDeleteIs your nickname spit or something? Trying to figure that out.
ReplyDeleteHorray for frogs that eat earwigs. Get one of those nets they use in Africa to keep bugs out of the bed.
they are crawling bugs...
ReplyDeleteand they'd crawl right up the net!!!
