Almost settled

It's Thursday, trash day here. such excitement. I'm waiting until it's really light out to make sure that there are no creepy crawlers on the trash can.

We now have Dish TV (called "pay tv" here) and internet.
We went w/an aircard as we did not plan on having a home phone, which you had to have to get regular DSL.
It seems to be working pretty well.

We tried the "beef sausages" for dinner last night. They were actually quite good. I would compare them to a brat, but they we very lean. Seems that everything is. We also tried a bottle of the local wine. Hopefully it's not the best that they have to offer. WAY SWEET...more like grape juice.

It's supposed to get hot this weekend. 38 or 39C...yep, that's hot!
I have a few errands to run today to get local insurance in place. As we use different words to describe the same things, this should be interesting!

Time for my walk. I try to wait until at least 6am.
