Red Dust storm...

This was just about the strangest thing that I've ever encountered.

People here did not seem to think too much about it as they were out and about as though it was a normal day.

I'm guessing that the neighbor's laundry will need re-done.

Mount Glorious

We took a different route on the way home from the coast and came over the top of Mt. Glorious.

It was a very relaxing drive and as it was father's day here, there was little traffic.

Surfers

Despite the morning's clouds, the surfers were out. Seems that this time of year, the surfing is best early mornings.

The Beach at Coolum

Please note that we are just wading. This was the first weekend of spring and the water was quite cold! The surfers were all in full wetsuits!

Coolum Beach

We went to Coolum Beach for the weekend. It is on the sunshine coast (north of Brisbane).

Since neither of us are surfer's, it was a nice relaxing weekend. All of the accomations there were apartments. I think that I'm more partial to RESORTS!
